The flexibility of scheduling, suitability of rapids and location makes our Adams River Trip the perfect choice for a group adventure. Countless youth and corporate groups have enjoyed a memorable experience that the excitement of whitewater provides. Many return each year to renew their passion for the river. Scheduling: During the spring and fall we may be able to change departure times to fit your needs. We can meet the group at our office or at the Adams River Bridge. Meeting at the office allows for a 'pit stop' and to view the photos afterwards. Groups can have lunch under the trees at our site (a BBQ is available upon request) or nearby at the beach at Shuswap Provincial Park. Meeting at the Adams River Bridge is perfect for those on a tight schedule, as it is closer to the highway. Photo order forms can be filled ahead of time if desired. Directions.

Time required: Allow 2 1/2 hours for your trip if meeting at the office; under 2 hours if meeting at the bridge.

Group size: To maintain a quality trip we limit our group size per departure to 24 - 30 rafters depending on group ages and time of year. For larger groups one party rafts while the other hikes in the park or hangs out at the beach or other activity. It works well, and we help with logistics.

Special cancellation considerations: We understand the uncertainties that can arise while organizing a big group. Our 14 day cancellation policy does apply. As a courtesy, we allow small changes to numbers (1 or 2) up to 7 days before the trip without being charged the cancellation fee. Should you have circumstances requiring special booking arrangements we will try our best to accommodate you. If you are booking during peak season (mid summer), our flexibility with this is limited.

Trip preparation: To facilitate the organization efforts, please forward or download and send the following to each rafter prior to the trip. The waiver form, info sheet, map, and youth photo order form if applicable. The group organizer will need to give a 50% deposit to book the trip. We advise that you explain the cancellation policy and collect the 50% deposit from each member of the group ASAP. This will protect you from losing your deposit in the event of a cancellation.

Suitability of rapids vs age groups:

The Adams River is well suited for youth groups. The rapids are exciting, manageable and short in nature. In general, May and July thru September are perfect for all age groups, while June is more suitable for senior students. However, we are very experienced with youth groups and manage each one to their specific ability. For example, if a younger group joins us in June, we can opt to walk them around the Gorge Rapid while they get plenty of thrills in the other rapids along the way.

Photos: Kids love having photos of their trip. We offer a super deal for youth groups: For only $10.00 each (all taxes and postage included!) we will burn all the photos of the trip onto a CD. Please, no CD copying with this special offer. Youth Photo Order forms should be filled out ahead of time. If you wish to have only one CD for the whole group the regular rate applies. TOUR GROUPS

Close to the Trans Canada Highway and suitable for most everyone, the Adams River is a fantastic stopover for tour groups. We offer the group pricing to tour groups with the tour leader rafting for free providing we have space. Special pricing considerations can be made for tour groups that will stop by regularly.
